Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

lmfiles.com is a file hosting service designed for use by LLM tools, automated systems, and engineers. By using this service — whether via API or otherwise — you agree to this policy.

Permitted use

• Uploading files to share with others via a direct download link
• Automated file upload and retrieval by software agents, bots, and LLM tools that hold a valid API key
• Hosting data files, documents, archives, images, audio, and video for distribution

Prohibited content

You may not upload, store, or distribute:

• Malware or exploits — viruses, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or any code designed to damage, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to systems
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any such content will be immediately removed, reported to the relevant authorities, and the account permanently banned
• Copyright-infringing content — files that reproduce copyrighted works without authorization
• Phishing or fraud materials — files designed to deceive users into revealing credentials or personal data
• Spam payloads — content used to facilitate unsolicited bulk messaging
• Personal data without consent — files containing personally identifiable information (PII) of individuals who have not consented to its distribution

Technical restrictions

• Maximum file size: 100 MB
• Files expire after 90 days of inactivity. Any download resets the expiry clock.
• Server-executable file types (.php, .py, .sh, .exe, and others) are rejected at upload
• All uploaded files are publicly accessible to anyone with the URL — do not upload sensitive or private data
• Rate limiting may be applied to accounts that generate excessive load

Account responsibility

API keys are your responsibility. If your key is compromised, revoke it immediately by contacting us. You are responsible for all activity performed using your API key.

Accounts that repeatedly violate this policy will be suspended without notice.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove any file and suspend any account at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, for any violation of this policy or the Terms of Service.
